OUR APPROACH
Avoid trends, cultivate personal taste
Your home will be around for a long time, and therefore should not be too swayed by current trends. Invest in materials that last and age well. How a stone floor feels under foot is less to do with trends and more to do with personal preference and comfort. We design in a way that will ensure you love how your home looks now, and in the future.
Design from the inside out
We get a complete understanding of how you want to live so we can prioritise what it will feel like for you to move through your home. Once we understand this, only then do we address what it will look like from the outside. We like bold design elements, this adds personality and value to your property, but there must be an element of mystery, maintaining your privacy and security.
Spend what you need to, but no more
While it is easy to design to any budget, it’s not always necessary. We are honest about what it will cost to achieve the size and style of home of you are after. Superfluous spending on premium materials that do not enhance the lifestyle of the occupants are of little interest to us. We do, however, believe in investing in quality where it matters – just as silk feels more luxe against the skin than polyester, so it is with the materials that we touch and feel every day in the home.
Understated luxury
We define luxury as the private comfort and ease of daily living, not by the amount of marble cladding on the walls. It’s about the things you don’t always see that add the most luxury; whether that be the concealed underfloor heating, the high quality glazing systems, the heavy weight door handles or the considered lighting design that sets the mood for parties.
